At Mountain View we provide good quality fresh food every day, in the right proportions, and encourage healthy eating habits. We also offer vegetarian options.
The kitchen is open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. See our special
menu as follows:
Breakfast
Most of our guests' favourite breakfast is our pancakes. Some
local people even come for breakfast here regularly.
Milk shakes with your choice of fruit such as banana, pineapple,
papaya, guava, mango, coconut or orange.
English breakfast: fried or scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages; Continental breakfast: French toast and fruit salad;
Thai breakfast: boiled rice soup with vegetables and your
choice of meat or seafood.
Lunch & Dinner
Noodles or fried rice is a common Thai lunch. As for
dinner Thais normally have rice with different dishes: curry soup,
stir fried, deep fried, or steamed foods.
Sample Menu
Pad Thai: stir fried noodles with Pad Thai sauce; Fried
tofu with basil leaves and sauces; Chicken or vegetables fried
with cashew nuts; Noodle soup with optional meat and vegetables;
Fried rice with prawns or sausages; Sticky rice with grilled
pork or chicken; Thai sausages with spicy papaya salad;
Tom Yam Kung (famous Thai hot & sour soup with prawns);
Stir fried curry paste with vegetables or meat.
Tours
Knowing a wide range of
travel agencies we can find the right tour to match your
style including trekking, cultural events and dinners. You can also
rent a car or motorbike through our reception desk personnel, as well as book
flights & hotels.
Laundry
For long stays you don't have to worry about
your washing as we offer a laundry service at a very reasonable
price. Only 5-10 baht per item.
Thai Massage School
Thai Massage is becoming more and more popular.
Many of our guests come for training at nearby Thai massage
schools.
Medical Consultant
Dr. Jaroon, the owner, is able to give you
medical advice. His clinic is just next to Mountain View.
You can always be assured of having a doctor nearby. The clinic
opening hours are 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
Internet Café
Right by the parking lot of the questhouse, we have an internet café with high speed broadband connection. Please ask at the reception for the opening hours
